  RIMS 5 Hour Pre License Class for NY State Permit Holders

NYS DMV approved for 16 and older.

Yes, 16 and 17 year old permit holders can take a  Zoom Class

and receive their MV278 (5 Hour Certificate).

The 5 Hour Pre License Class is comprised of: 

• Rules of the Road

• Driver Impairment

• Seatbelt & Airbag Safety

• Defensive Driving

• Emotions 

• Aggressive Driving / Road Rage

• Distracted Driving

At RIMS, there are no tests or quizzes, and you will be able to schedule the road test directly after class if you are ready. After class is complete, I stick around and offer some tips for the road test and answer any questions you may have, that is certainly not something you will experience with an online version. And of course, the number one reason to book with RIMS is no call centers in a foreign country!  

 

The participant will receive an MV278 form needed to schedule and take your road test.
